He Doesn’t ‘Write His Own Raps’ - Meek Mill Diss Drake

Just hours after Meek Mill’s fiance Nicki Minaj went toe-toe-toe with Taylor Swift on Twitter, the rapper started his own social media stir by throwing some serious shade at Drake. See Meek’s snarky comments here!

Looks like Nicki Minaj isn’t the only rapper causing a Twitter stir as of late. Just hours after the “Anaconda” rapper went on a VMAs tirade aimed at Taylor Swift , her fiance, rapper
Meek Mill, 28, took to the social media platform to throw some serious shade at her ex, Drake, 28. Turns out, Meek isn’t a fan of Drizzy or his lyrics — and you best believe he let the whole world know why!
Meek called out Nicki’s ex via Twitter on July 21 for employing a ghostwriter for his own raps, along with the lyrics that are featured on his most recent single “R.I.C.O.” “Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!” Mill alleged after firing off a few tweets. “The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can’t wait tok these guys and sit back and act like they don’t know!”
Later, Meek went on to acknowledge that fellow rap stars Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole “really know how to rap,” but continued to pile on Drake writing that “even tho they in different lanes…Dude is all the way outta it lol. He ain’t even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album, I don’t trick my fans! Lol.”
But wait, it doesn’t stop there! The Twitter rant eventually made its way to Rick Ross , 39, who added fuel to the fire so to speak by tweeting his support for Drizzy (before deleting the post) writing, “Drake>> Meek.” Though, this may have just been a joke as Meek later tweeted “Ross is really with me…I don’t look at no tweet…It’s really love we don’t act like we cool for the camera!” which Rick later retweeted. Still, that didn’t stop Drake’s longtime nemesis Chris Brown from adding his two cents into the mix by posting a since-deleted photo to his Instagram account which featured a photo of him smiling alongside the caption, “Chris looking at Twitter like for once it ain’t me.”
So where did this all come from? It’s uncertain what triggered the “Dreams Worth More Than Money” rapper to go after Drake, but according to a tweet from him, he wasn’t “with all this fake happy s**t.” Of course, it should be noted that Drake is Nicki’s ex-boyfriend and he hasn’t exactly been shy when it comes to voicing his opinions about his former love. “If there’s any woman in my life that’s the ideal woman for me, it’s definitely Nicki,” Drake previously told The Daily Beast . “I like the stripped-down Nicki. I like Nicki with no makeup, black hair, some casual clothes in a recording booth rapping an amazing verse. That’s sexy to me.” He added, “I know some great women, but all jokes aside, Nicki is somebody I could spend my life with because I think we understand each other.” Prior to attacking Drake, Meek also went after another one of Nicki’s ex-boyfriends, Safaree Samuels, writing, “I always thought u was gay letting ya girl do all that shit with…” alongside a video of Samuels twerking. It would seem then that Meek still has some deep-seated issues with Nicki’s exs — that or he’s just really bummed that he didn’t secure his own MTV VMA nomination.
