Bio Of Vector & His Achievements

Vector tha viper as a stage name but christened David from the family of Mr and Mrs Ogunmefun. Vector is a rapper who was born on 7th August, 1984 and in Ogun state where he hails from. He was born into a family of five children, life growing up for popular crooner was in a christian religion

atmosphere. He attended Command children school, Ijebu-ode grammar school, Government college Victoria Island & Saint Gregory’s college. He had his first degree at the University of Lagos, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Philosophy.He is a fellow who has always loved to play with words. He started hip hop in 1994 and was with a music group called ‘badder boiz’.He started officially in the 2000’s. He was signed to YSG record label in 2009 and he represented them too well as some new fans mistook his name to be YSG as he his always saying it. Their relationship ended with a fracas and he moved on to be on his own. Vector is a brand name in hip hop music in Nigeria. He is a barrack boy and his lyrics are always very deep, full of reality and they are always challenging. Among his popular lines are comparison and compare and reasoning, you never see me voodoo apart from the one in elegushi, knowledge is power,power made a hero,if knowledge is power your energy level is zero, Se awon ni esu ton fe do ju ti jesu and a whole lot of others. Among his popular hits are Kilode, Mary jane, i love Nigeria, popular, born leader, get down and a lot others,he has worked with Mavado, Sarkodie, 2face, Yq, Oristefemi, General pipe,Sheyi Shey,Shalom, Chuddy k, Ayoola, Jumabee, Mode 9, Solid star, Adewale Ayuba, Djmuzic, Fatboi, Azadus.he has two studio albums(state of surprise) (second coming) and one mixtape(Bar racks) with producers like Pheelz, Samklef, Da piano,Van beats, H code, Licious, Sagzy, Me Smith, Del B, TY mix. What has made him very different from other emcees is that he has a flare for freestyle as he dishes it out anywhere,anytime the camera and mic comes in contact with him.Vector tha viper is a realist and he has won and has been nominated for a couple awards.
