Muhammadu Buhari shared his thoughts on Facebook about students in Polytechnics and Colleges of Education that are staying at home because of bad work of the Federal Government:
Buhari: "It is shameful that millions of our students in Polytechnics and Colleges of Education are at home due to the failure of the Federal Government and the parties concerned to resolve their disputes.
"It is the average Nigerian youth that always suffers, who after laboring hard to put up the bill of his own education; is forced to endure a turbulent system that hardly goes as scheduled. And after graduation, faces a bleak employment prospects as we have witnessed in the recent Immigration Test tragedy.
"This is not about partisan politics, this is about the future of the Nigerian youth; who should serve as the engine of Nigeria's transformation and modernization. And whoever toys with this issue is in a conspiracy against the future prosperity of this country.":
