Abou Diaby’s Injuries: Full Horror Of Departing Arsenal Midfielder Fitness Woes

Arsenal has just released the French midfielder Abou Diaby which makes Theo Walcott the longest serving arsenal player still on the Squad.

This handy/depressing animated graphic includes every injury Diaby suffered as an Arsenal player
(hint: there are a LOT of them) Getty Arsenal’s Abou Diaby: lots of Boo-boos and Ouches Abou Diaby is Arsene Wenger’s great ‘what could have been’ story.

The new Patrick Vieira.
The current Yaya Toure.
The future Paul Pogba.

The French midfielder was going to be so many things. Sadly, nine years after a brutal tackle by former Sunderland midfielder Dan Smith left Diaby with a severe ankle fracture, he has now – finally – left Arsenal.
Since that initial serious ankle problem, his catalog of injuries has become the stuff of (unfortunate) legend. That’s why we decided to see if we could fit them all into one gif: Almost unbelievable, isn’t it? And that’s not even taking into account the fact he spent the whole of 2014 on the sidelines too.
