Ado Ekiti Main Market was set on fire yesterday by people suspected to be from the Hausa community who have been having issues with some other members of the community.
This is reportedly a reprisal attack after the Hausa community was attacked by mask-wearing hoodlums on Wednesday.
The Hausa community in Ekiti state was attacked by mask-wearing hoodlums today May 20th.
Reports say the thugs stormed the popular Atikankan area at about 8am, destroyed wares and properties of residents in the area. Residents say they are confused as to the motive behind the attack.
